NFL Week 9

Week 9 was a week of big moments for the NFL.  There were a couple of really close games that could have gone either way and there was a huge upset that shocked the football world.

The Ravens and Patriots played each other on Sunday, November 3, 2019.  The Ravens had a huge upset against the Patriots, ending their undefeated season.  Going into the game most people had their vote on the Patriots winning and the Ravens were a pretty big underdog in this game.  The Ravens were led by the 2nd year QB, Lamar Jackson, he had 163 passing yards, 61 rushing yards, and had a total of three touchdowns.  Lamar had passed for one of those touchdowns and rushed for two of them. The Ravens started the game off with three straight scoring drives.  The Patriots had worked their way back into the game but the Ravens finished it off with two scoring drives in the second half.

Seahawks vs Buccaneers was a very good high scoring game.  This game was very close but the Seahawks came out on top winning 40-34 in overtime.  Russel Wilson had put together his 4th game- winning drive of the season, as he had thrown 29/43, 378 yards, and 5 TD’s.  DK Metcalf played a huge part in the Seahawks win as he had 6 catches for 123 yards and he had scored 1 TD.

A game a lot of people have been talking about was the Broncos vs Browns.  The Broncos played the Browns at home and gave their fans a good show, as the Broncos beat the Browns 24-19.  Brandon Allen was 12/20, 193 passing yards, and 2 TD’s. Allen had a pretty good starting debut as he was starting in replacement of Joe Flacco.  Phillip Lindsay had a big day as he had 9 rushes for 92 yards, and he had a season- best 30 yard touchdown.

Going into week 10, San Francisco is the only undefeated team left in the league and they are looking to be the team to beat.  The game people are waiting to see during week 10 is the Seahawks vs 49ers.
