What my own island would look like

Naomi Cortez, Reporter

If I was in charge of my own island I would be the queen of the island. Anybody that lived on my island would be legal. Today there are a bunch of people being discriminated against for their background or race. Everyone would be treated equally and everyone will work the same hours as well as get paid the same. No one on my island would be treated differently, everyone would be nice to one another. I would be in my own small house as I do not like big houses and would like to be around the community.
The differences I would make from my island and today’s society would be again everyone would be treated equally. No one on my island would be labeled as an immigrant or illegal. Everyone would be welcomed to my island without having to have papers or passports. As well as anyone who wants to leave can leave whenever they want. Everything will be affordable so everyone can have fun and enjoy the same things as others. My prices depending on the item will be lowered by a certain amount from what is here in the United States.
There will be schools with no charges, schools will be free for everyone on my island. Hospital bills will always be paid so the people here won’t have to pay for them. With that everyone can go to hospitals without having to worry about the bill being expensive. There will be nice houses and apartments for everyone. Depending on their liking they can choose between the two. If everyone chooses houses then we’ll build more houses and vise versa.
My laws and rules for my island will be that everyone will be treated right. There will be police on my island and they will be friendly ones. The people can be any religion and they will be every race. No one is to judge on my island. Those who can not follow that rule will be put in jail. The people on my island will have to pay for the food and needs they need, but it will be lowered so everyone can afford it. There will be a limit on what and how much you buy because there does have to be enough for everybody. Everyone will have an equal share of everything, whether it be food or essentials to survive it will all be evenly paid for.
