The movies, the cinema, the big screen, these places go by so many names yet all serve the same purpose. They bring you your favorite stars, in your favorite stories, bringing them to life on the big screen. Each month bringing new fantasies and stories come to life. March is no different, a month jammed packed with premieres.

      The weekend of Mar. 4 brings about two releases. London Has Fallen, a sequel to Olympus Has Fallen has come, along with Zootopia, a flick directed toward younger audiences. London Has Fallen follows the story of a British Prime Minister’s funeral which has become the target of a terrorist group planning to take down important world leaders. The only hope of stopping it falls the the President of the United States, his head of Secret Service and a British MI-6. The next film is Zootopia, an animation the centers around a bunny officer, named Judy Hopps and how she tries to prove herself worthy of being on the task force.

      The weekend of Mar. 11 brings about three movies: The Young Messiah, 10 Cloverfield Lane, and The Brothers Grimsby. The Young Messiah is an adaptation and it follows young Jesus as he travels from egypt with his family, trying to figure out more about who he is and his purpose in life. 10 Cloverfield Lane is a terror About woman who wakes up underground after a terrible car accident and fears she’s been abducted. Her captor, a doomsday prepper, warns her that a terrible chemical attack has left the outside world uninhabitable but as tensions rise she decides she must escape regardless of the terrors that await outside. Lastly the movie Brother Grimsby is a spy comedy that tells the story of MI6’s top assassin who has a brother. Unfortunately for him, he’s an English football hooligan from the town of Grimsby.

      Wednesday, Mar. 16, brings the release of the movie Miracles from Heaven. The story-line is about a  young girl is suffering from a rare digestive disorder and finds herself miraculously cured after surviving a terrible accident.

       The weekend of Mar. 18 brings the release of Allegiant, the third installment of the Divergent series. After the earth-shattering revelations of The Divergent Series: Insurgent, Tris must escape with Four and go beyond the wall enclosing Chicago. For the first time ever, they will leave the only city and family they have ever known in order to find a peaceful solution for their embroiled city. Once outside, old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless with the revelation of shocking new truths. Tris and Four must quickly decide who they can trust as a ruthless battle ignites beyond the walls of Chicago which threatens all of humanity. In order to survive, Tris will be forced to make impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice and love. The movie the Young Prince is also set to come out the same weekend. This movie is a 3D animation and centers on a pilot who crash-lands in the Sahara desert and comes across a little boy who says he is a prince fallen to Earth from his home on an asteroid. As the pilot repairs his plane, the little prince regales him with stories about his home and the foolish inhabitants of nearby asteroids.

       Closing out March the weekend of the 25 three movies are set to hit the big screen. Batman vs Superman, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, and The Disappointments Room. Batman vs Superman follows the actions of Batman Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 follows the story as The film reveals a Portokalos family secret that will bring the beloved characters back together for an even bigger and Greeker wedding. Lastly the movie, The Disappointments Room tells the story of Dana and David as they move from Brooklyn to a once-grand southern mansion with their 5 year old son looking for a fresh start. But Dana’s discovery of a secret room unleashes unexplainable events that test her sanity and slowly reveal the home’s terrifying past.

       March wraps up a month of premiers as the world gets ready for April premieres. These include The Huntsman: Winters War, The Jungle book, Keanu, and Hardcore Henry.
