    Shameless is a show that will make you feel like your family problems are nothing. Shameless is about a father that leaves his children to continue is alcoholic and drug habits. This show is based out of Chicago and you can go visit these famous locations.

    2119 S Homan Ave, Chicago, Illinois, is the address of the famous Gallagher house. The Gallagher house is the location of many scenes. This iconic location is available to visit when you’re down in Chicago.

   2113 S Homan Ave, Chicago IL, is where Kev and V live. Kev and V are crucial to the show because they have a huge impact on the Gallaghers life.

   1937 S. Spaulding Ave, Chicago IL is where crazy Karen lives. Karen and Sheila live in a nice white house right outside of the train tracks. Frank spends a lot of time at the Jackson house.

  Many small locations are a huge part of the Shameless show. The Motel, the Kash and Grab, the Alibi Room and many more.

  The show originally was a UK show, but was remade in the US but follows the same story line. Paul Abbott the television writer came from a large family. He created the show based on his story. He was one of the youngest in the family and had a mother who abandoned him and his siblings. His father shortly left after the mother and left his older sister to be responsible for his family.  Abbott mentions that he was really the only literate one in the family so that’s what drove the uneducated characters in the story. All in all, Shameless is a reflection of the television writers life.

   The characters in the show have gained much attention due to the sudden spike in views on the show. Fan favorites include: Ian Gallagher (Cameron Monaghan), Lip Gallagher (Jeremy Allen White), Fiona Gallagher (Emmy Rossum), Frank Gallagher (William H Macy) and Carl Gallagher (Ethan Cutkosky). All of these characters have gained huge amounts of attention when girls started to go crazy for Lip and Carl and love how brave Ian is about being homosexual. Fiona and Frank get attention for obvious reasons.

   The show has received a lot of positive attention and will definitely change your outlook on life. It’s a show you won’t want to watch with your parents, but it’s definitely worth binge watching.
