Boston Red Sox have always been one of the most elite baseball programs in the Major League.  The Red Sox have won a total of eight World Series Championships.  The last World Series they won was just a couple years ago in 2013.  The team was filled with major players like David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, and Jon Lester.  Since then, the team has been a middle of the pack team in the American League East. That was until the 2016-2017 off-season.

As for the 2017 season, the Red Sox are looking to go to another World Series Championship.  Right now, the Chicago Cubs and the Boston Red Sox are looking to be the elite teams in the 2017 season.  Both teams are stacked from the top to the bottom of their rosters.  As for the outfield, they have Jackie Bradley Jr., Brock Holt, and Mookie Betts.  That could be one of the most elite outfields in all of baseball.

As for the infield, the Red Sox continue to be prestigious.  The infield consists of Pablo Sandoval, Xander Bogaerts, Dustin Pedroia, and Hanley Ramirez.  That is a lock down infield all the way around.  Both Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval have started their careers on other teams and have helped those teams do big things for their programs.

In addition to defensively, the Red Sox are also very elite on the offensive side.  As for Mookie Betts, he was one of the best all around hitters in the entire Major League.  Dustin Pedroia has been one of the most elite hitters since his rookie year as he was the Rookie of Year his rookie season.

As for on the bump, the Red Sox have attained David Price and Chris Sale.  Those are two of the most elite starters in the game right now.

With all of these aspects adding up, the Red Sox are gearing up for one of their most successful season yet.
