The trailer for Thor: Ragnarok was released earlier this month and some fan favorites are back for another addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We get to see Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Cate Blanchett as the new villain Hella. The main conflict of the third film is Thor must defeat hulk in a gladiatorial duel to save Asgardians from Hela and the rise of Ragnarök, which will wreak havoc over his home planet. The plot is also supposed to continue from Avengers: Age Of Ultron because Hulk and Thor have no idea what had happened in the recent Captain America movie, Civil War.

The new character, Hela, the ruler of Hel, had just recently escaped her prison and sets out to seek revenge on those who kept her there for many years. Another new character being introduced is Valkyrie who has formed a business relationship with the Grandmaster while hiding out on Sakaar. Her character was brought into the MCU to pit against Thor for an opposites attract partnership.

Thor: Ragnarok is to be released in the US on November 3 in IMAX theaters, even though the original release date was in July.
