Winter Sports

The Fall season is coming to a close which means the Winter season is right around the corner.  The winter sports meeting is October 25 from 5:30pm – 7:30pm.  During this time, parents have an opportunity to meet coaches and ask questions, and the coaches will have a chance to tell  both the parents and athletes what the season is going to look like.

The boys and girls basketball teams has already started having open gyms both before and after school. At these open gyms they usually work out and practice a little to get a feel for the sport.

The competitive Cheer team has already started working on getting ready for the Winter season. Last year they got 1st in state and they are working on getting on the podium again. There are open gyms every Wednesday where anyone can come and see what cheering is all about and see if they would like to try out for competitive season.

“This year I feel like our team has a good chance of winning again we have all been working very hard to get new skills and make the skills that we have better. As a whole team I think that we are very bonded and it’s more like a family and that’s why we work so well together,” said by Olivia Sawyer (‘18).
