If you’re looking to make some money over the summer, there are many jobs around here. The belvidere park district has many different job opportunities. The pool has lifeguarding spots, maintenance, front desk, and first aid. You could also be a camp counselor at one of the camps. The park district has two camps, Camp Horizon and Camp Compass.  Camp Horizon is for kids with disabilities. Camp Horizon has job opportunities for working with kids and adults. A typical day there is going to the pool, playing games, making crafts, going to the park, having snack, or watching movies. Camp Compass has the same camp day set up, except Camp Horizon goes on field trips every Friday.
