NFL Week 1

Welcome back NFL season. The preseason finished  and the official season started Thursday September 5. Fans got a little taste of football and were able to see the rookies show out during preseason, but now it’s time for the starters to take the field and play full speed and make a push for a Super Bowl Title. 

The NFL season started off the season with a classic match-up of he Chicago Bears against  Green Bay Packers.  The Packers ended up beating the Bears 10-3. It was a low scoring game where both teams defense really showed out. 

Sunday hit and then  it was time for all the other teams to show out and play and try totake a step forward towards the Super Bowl. The highest scoring game was the Baltimore Ravens against the Miami Dolphins. The Raven put up a total of fifty nine points on the scoreboard and Lamar Jackson threw five touchdowns and also getting contributions  from their rookie wide receiver Marques Brown scoring two touchdowns for one hundred and forty seven yards. The Raven were the only team to put up a high amount of points in the fifties. 

Week one leaders in the passing after all the quarterbacks was Andy Dalton from the Bengals, he threw a total of thirty-five complete passes for four hundred and eighteen yards with two touchdowns. He led all quarterbacks after week one for the most yards. Leading in the rushing game after week one is the Colts running back Marlon Mack. He had a total of twenty five carries for 147 yards and one touchdown. Leading for the most catches after week one is Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins who had nine catches for one hundred ninety eight yards with three touchdowns. These were your week one of the NFL stats and now we look ready for week two and see what’s in store.
