Halloween Carnival

Halloween Carnival

On October 30 Belvidere North had its annual Halloween Carnival hosted by the club called DECA . With a record breaking attendance of about 500 people, it was a successful event. All types of people from around the district and some others came together and brought in non-perishable goods or paid a $1 admission (with optional donations). Kids would then be allowed to go in and enjoy the fun with their families. Ten clubs attended: SNHS, NHS, DECA, Health Careers, Key, German,Tri-M, Thespians, Zonta, and Student Council. However, every year DECA puts everything together and makes the table arrangements and marketing done. There was so many activities to choose from like bowling, duck pond, musical chairs, face painting, photo booth, candy making, and a fake autopsy. Children ran around in their costumes and got to enjoy the fun inside before the winter storm came the next day. It was a great way to reunite families and for kids to meet new people from other schools.
