Play Review: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe

Sadie Cooper , Reporter

“The play The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe was a fun play with simple but effective costumes and actors who really got into their roles. The standout characters for me were Lucy, the White Witch, and Aslan (the lion), but the whole cast was fantastic and seemed dedicated to their roles. I also appreciated that at the end of the play, the four go back into the wardrobe to leave Narnia (literally, they were all in there) and then when they came back out for bows, they rolled out the wardrobe and the four of them walked out for their bow! The fight scene where Aslan defeated the witch was a crowd pleaser (he hit her head on the floor a few times),” said Ms Lawvyer.

“I think the show went super well! We had a great cast and crew who seemed to get along and enjoy being around each other (which is usually hard to find). I think people were nervous since we have a new director but things seemed to go really well and we got a lot of great feedback,” said Anna Karl(‘20)
