Rat’s Nest Found in School Store Printer

The Belvidere North school store was recently infected with mice. Located near the cafeteria, students often bring their lunch and eat it in the store. According to a senior, it was to “help boost sales.” However other students found eating in the store appealing. Soon after there were multiple people in the room during lunch hours. Unfortunately, students were not always careful and often left food in there. Sometime last week, mice were found making their home in the printer.

Following these unfortunate events, students are now “banned from eating in the store.” The school staff has always urged students to eat in the cafeteria, for reasons such as these. For future reference, students should be mindful of where they eat, and the cleanliness of their station should be a priority.
