They will be led by Kyle Kaempfer(‘20), Clayton Tryon(‘20) and Zach Matzl(‘20), who are all returning players from last year’s team. Belvidere High School also brings back Howard Goston(‘20), Leo Alfaro(‘20), and Ivan Aguirre(‘20). There are also a handful of new players that will help their team, Bennett Baker(‘20), Ian Hartle(‘20) and Gavin McClenthen(‘22) will all look to bring something to the program.

“I’m excited for this year and I think we have some pieces on this team that could help get this program going in the right direction. I can’t wait to see how we play together once the season starts,” said Kyle Kaempfer.

Belvidere’s first game is set for 3/13 against East, but it is looking less likely that the game is played because of the growing concern of the CoronaVirus. Regardless of when the season starts, Belvidere will be ready and eager to get going.
